Substitute Pet Sitter: As a benefit of FSPS, a team of professional and experienced pet sitters will be available to provide for your service needs. Each client will have a Primary Pet Sitter as their main sitter. At times, in order to provide each client with continual care it may be necessary to have another team member fill in, under the supervision and direction of the client's Primary Pet Sitter. You can feel confident that all of FSPS's team members are carefully screened for professionalism and experience before joining FSPS.

Emergency Veterinary Care: Client accepts all veterinary bills incurred in the event of an emergency. We ask that you provide us with emergency contact persons that are authorized to make decisions about your pets if we are unable to contact you in the event of an emergency.
If we are unable to contact the owner or listed emergency persons, we may take your pet to a veterinarian if we deem it to be absolutely necessary. If we cannot contact your regular veterinarian in the event of an emergency we may take your pet to one of our choosing.

 

    • Did you know?

      Parrots need a minimum of 10-12 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night. A well rested bird is a happier bird.

 



Additional Client Appointments: Once you are an established client, if you have added a new pet family member we are happy to come to your house to meet them at no additional charge. If however, you need FSPS staff to come to your house to establish new non pet related duties such as plant watering, alarm function, etc. then a one time visit charge will apply for every 30 minutes.

Pet Sitting Visits: For the additional security of your home we do not guarantee visits will be at the same time every day. If you are scheduled for twice a day visits the following schedule applies: AM visits will be anytime before 12pm
PM visits will may be anytime after 12pm.

Cancellations:Fees are non-refundable. Once services are paid for, there will be no refund for early return, however, in some cases those fees may be used towards future services. Any cancellations less than 3 days in advance will be charged a 1 day fee. Any cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will be charged a 2 day fee.

Returning Home: Please call or e-mail us upon your return. If we do not hear from you (the client) we may continue services to ensure your pets are cared for. We will only discontinue services upon at the request of the client who started the services.

Misc: If any other person(s) will be in your home during the service period please provide with their name and contact information. This includes friends, relatives, children away at college, repairmen, cleaning service, etc. This is for our safety and the safety of your pets.

Payment: Payment is due in full on the first day of service. If payments are received after the first day of service a $10 late fee will be added to the amount due. For returned checks a $35 fee will be charged. Future services will not continue until account balances are paid in full.
